Big K.R.I.T. - King Pt. 2

Wooo! You know we always represent our country cousin, Big KRIT, but he is putting out some music that is going to make us revere his craft.

King Pt. 2 is the sequel to KRIT's breakout track and video, King, and touches on some more social issues found in Pt. 1. The beat is the instrumental from Drake's 'Lord Knows'.

Before you DL this track, take some time to familiarize yourself with King Pt. 1 and its dope accompanying visuals.

XV - Preview (Freestyle)

You know XV always has some creativity up his sleeve. For this soulful, R&B-esque track, XV delivers exactly what the title suggest: a freestyle (of sorts). It's still fairly coherent for a freestyle but whatever, we are jamming, man!

Play this one for your significant other on this most commercial of commercial holidays!

Kendrick Lamar - Cartoons & Cereal (ft. Gunplay)

We bump K Dot heavy around here. The young'n is carrying some serious substance and conveying critical messages our generation needs to hear and face up to.

Listen to this intricate track, that is not even close to a water-down version of P&P, and try to decipher the pop culture laden social commentary Kendrick and Gunplay are laying down.

The drop at the beginning of this track is greatness! If you don't find yourself bobbing your head or feeling any type of rhythm, then check your pulse.

Smoke DZA - Marley's Garden (Prod. by MeLo-X)

Our favorite smoker-friendly artist, Smoke DZA, so graciously pleasures us with this track he has slept on, hoping to save it for one of the two projects he is working on, but instead releasing it on the birthday of one of the most influential musical artists to ever grace the planet - Mr. Bob Marley.

DZA had this to say about the track: "On a cool evening I got up wit my guy MeLo-X in BK on Bob Marley blvd to create. I wanted to keep this record for one of the two projects I’m working but being that today is the birthday of one of the most influential artist ever I figured fuck it. Rolled up a raw and picked my greens out of marleys garden happy bday Og #Guidance" - DZA

Big K.R.I.T. - Boobie Miles

Our favorite country cousin, Big K.R.I.T., graces us with the first single from his upcoming mixtape 4Eva N a Day, dropping Feb. 20th. On this sexy, saxophone laden track, K.R.I.T. treats us to his philosophy about "over coming all the obstacles that block your dreams, the sacrifices that come with how hard you have to go to obtain your goal, [and] giving your all no matter what the situation. The only difference between a winner N a loser is a winner plays until he wins."
