XV - Rise (New Single) & Granada Aug. 16th Preview

XV is steady in the stu kicking out some more #Squarian music, and his latest one is called Rise produced by The Awesome Sound. XV is coming off a tour, successful mixtape, and even got married in July.

XV's new single Rise intensely gives listeners a track that shows a darker side of XV. There is a little chip on the shoulder of Vizzy, as the #L7 kid from Kansas has something to prove to the hip hop community.

Back here in the land of OZ, XV has done plenty for the Kansas hip hop game and continues to represent the state well in the hip hop industry. With a strong lyrical content that is innovative and creative as XV's bars are consistent to his intelligent penmanship. This has allowed XV to withstand critics and haters that might have over looked him in the past. XV has the ability to stay true to his craft by staying current with metaphoric popular culture events that we can relate to as listeners. XV also makes sure that the swagger within his delivery of his words are fierce and has some sting to the cutter lines.

Vizzy is surely a busy guy this summer and he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down with a homecoming show in Lawrence KS at The Granada August 16th. It's an all ages shows that has plenty of live music. XV has a full live band accompanying him and will most likely play some new music from his Popular Culture mixtape.

Make sure to not miss out on the XV show in Lawrence KS at the Granada Thursday August 16th!!! We have tickets so feel free to hit us up on Twitter or email us at midwestsounds@gmail.com for the early bird tickets.
